Elevate Your CS2 Gameplay

Project: CS2 player platform website (similar to Faceit, but simplified).

Goal: Create a web platform where users can:

Log in via Steam API

View their CS2 match and player stats

Create or join lobbies

Have a ranking system (ELO / MMR)

Access a profile page (avatar, nickname, stats, rank, etc.)

MVP (Minimum Viable Product) Features:

Landing Page — info about the project + “Sign in with Steam” button.

Player Profile — show Steam avatar, nickname, match history, and basic stats.

Leaderboard — ranking of players by points or ELO.

Lobby System — ability to create and join match lobbies (fake lobbies are fine for now).

Admin Panel — view and manage users, matches, and ratings.

Preferred Tech Stack:

Frontend: React or Next.js + TailwindCSS

Backend: Node.js (Express.js)

Database: MongoDB or PostgreSQL

Auth: Steam OpenID API

Hosting: Vercel (frontend) + Render or Railway (backend)

Optional but Nice to Have:

Integration with Faceit API or CS2 Game Data API

Real ELO rating system

Responsive dark-themed UI (Faceit-style: black + orange palette)

Design goal:
Minimalistic, gaming-oriented look — dark theme, smooth animations, and simple navigation.
